BACKGROUND:
Dr. McBride is presently the Assistant to the
President and the Military Field Administrator for
BMFP.
He was saved on Thanksgiving evening 1969 while
attending a Bible Conference near Heilbronn,
Germany. He then answered the call to preach in
March 1970 and upon retirement from the Unites
States Air Force in June 1974 he began training
for the ministry at Tennessee Temple Schools.
Brother McBride graduated in May 1978, and on
August 24, 1978 arrived in Germany as a missionary
to American servicemen.
Brother McBride pastored the Open Door Bible
Baptist Church in Wirehof, Germany for one year,
then pastored the Zweibruecken Baptist Church in
Zweibreucken, Germany for 13 1/2 years until the
air base there closed. He then pastored the Berean
Baptist Church in Ansbach, Germany for the four
years prior to coming to Rhineland.
