I was born again as a ten year old boy during a neighborhood vacation Bible School in the summer of 1977. Sadly, I was not mentored, nor discipled, but I had a desire to go into full-time Christian service.

After I married my high school sweetheart, Laura Oller, in July of 1987, we attended a Southern Baptist Church (Regrettably, I backslid during these years and later in my military service in the USAF.) Thankfully, Laura was praying that God would get my attention. While on a deployment to Italy in November 1994, He did. I became so ashamed of the way I had been living my life and I was miserable because I was not obedient to God's call. But, the Lord's wonderful grace through Laura's prayers helped me come to my senses and I cried out to God with tears of repentance and then joy. From here, the Lord immediately redirected my life, goals, and dreams. When I returned home from my deployment, I walked into the first fundamental Baptist church of my life (Eifel Baptist Church; near Spangdahlem Air Base, Germany). From here, God really began to prepare Laura and me for full-time ministry and I submitted to the Lord publicly in March of 1995 and came forward during the invitation. Interestingly, years prior to leaving the military, God had already planted a seed of compassion within my heart for the people of New Mexico. Later, this burden became a specific desire to reach the Pueblo Indians.

The Pueblo Indians number over 300,000 and live in deep spiritual darkness. In the last fifteen years, God has burdened a few men's hearts to reach these people with the Gospel. Our desire is that the Lord would use our family to penetrate this land of enchantment with the Light of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Laura was saved as a very young child and her brother Mark led her to Christ. She simply said, ''Yes'' to God's free gift of salvation and was born again in 1971. At age nine, Laura made a decision of assurance. For as long as I can remember, she has had a desire to do whatever she could to help people learn about Jesus and his love for them. Although it took a year after I publicly went forward to get used to the idea of being a missionary, Laura still intends to do whatever she can to help people learn about Jesus and His love for them.

Our five sons are the most outstanding young men in America today. Three of them have made professions of faith and have been baptized and one of them has expressed interest in being a missionary. God has truly been good to us.
