People say if you take people from around the world and put them in a mixer, you make a Latin American.  Most of  Latin America was colonized by several European nations in the 1500's.  Most countries regained their independence between 1810 and 1970; with Curacao being the latest in 2010.

  Why Should I Consider Latin America?

Latin America has been a wide-open mission field for many years.  Pastors, missionaries, church leaders, and young people have visited Latin America and have been greatly impacted by how the people respond to Jesus for salvation.  Latin America is a mission field white and ready for labors unto the harvest. 

The nationals love to see North Americans come to be among them. They get so excited to see visitors that care about them. They love to hear people from the north preaching the Wonderful Word of Life. Imagine God calling you to love and be loved by Latin Americans who have never heard about so great a salvation.

Latin American countries are mostly open to missionaries. Most governments realize that Christian churches are a great blessing to the communities. The majority of Latin Americans are Catholics; they are close to the truth of the Gospel.
